On May 1, 2019, a delegation from the United Arab Emirates headed by Minister of Energy and Industry Suhail Mohammed Al Mazrouei arrived. This trip was organized under the agreements reached during the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the UAE in March of this year.

The delegation composed of members of the government and large emirate companies was welcomed heartily involving Deputy Prime Minister E. Ganiev, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade S. Umurzakov, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the UAE B. Ibrahimov and other officials.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged plans and expectations from the current trip and outlined priority areas for cooperation. The program of the visit of the UAE delegation provided business meetings with ministries and departments of Uzbekistan on the implementation of joint investment projects in Uzbekistan.
