The visit of the delegation of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Uzbekistan headed by the Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the Future Mohammad Abdulla Al Gergawi provided G2G section meetings of work teams on cooperation between the Governments of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the UAE as follows: improving the efficiency of government machinery, optimizing the provision of public services, improving the business environment and increasing positions in international ratings, cooperation in education and training, digitization of the government machinery, developing a national strategy, the Smart City program.

 During the meetings, the parties exchanged an opinion on further cooperation in these areas considering the engagement of UAE experts to technical consulting and assistance, as well as visits of heads of relevant ministries and departments to the UAE to study the experience of foreign colleagues in the field. Every work team made a detailed plan of activities and determined a strategy for further work for the successful implementation of the proposed mechanisms.

At the end of the sessions of work teams, they had a final meeting and agreed on the need to centralize the coordination of the activities by the governments of both countries.

Following the meeting, the Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade S. Umurzakov and the Minister Cabinet Affairs and the Future Mohammad Abdulla Al Gergawi signed an agreement on cooperation to improve and increase the efficiency of the government.
