Japan is a reliable business partner for Uzbekistan
The Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade held a video-conference involving Vice President of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Y. Hoshino.
During the dialogue, JETRO's top officials confirmed their intentions to continue reliable business partnership with Uzbekistan. In particular, they disclosed a proposal to continue meetings of the Uzbek - Japanese Business Club and 'Invest in Rising Uzbekistan' business seminars involving top officials of Japanese companies and organizations. Y. Hoshino proposed holding seminars for top officials of Japanese companies operating in the UAE and Turkey.
Representatives of the JETRO office in Uzbekistan said that they continued systemically promote a positive investment image of the country and unlock its economic potential in the Japanese business community. In particular, the JETRO's official website published manuals on the procedures to establish own company, as well as obtain a work visa and work permit in Uzbekistan. This information was sent to 4,000 Japanese entrepreneurs via the JETRO's weblog.
The parties also negotiated on prospects to cooperate and attract new promising partners interested in investment projects in Uzbekistan.
Following the negotiations, the parties mutually reaffirmed their commitment to continue and develop mutually beneficial cooperation through existing agreements and joint networking between Uzbek and Japanese entrepreneurs.
