On December 13 this year Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan S.Umurzakov visited the National Exhibition Complex "Uzexpocentre", where he got acquainted with the course of preparation for the Republican Industrial Fair to be held in Tashkent from 14 to 18 December this year, and discussed with the heads of ministries, agencies, industry associations, holding companies and regional administrations, who will participate in the event, a number of organizational and content issues.

During the inspection targeted instructions were given to improve the level of preparation for the event, filling the business program of the fair, as well as ensuring its effectiveness, meaning the involvement of domestic entrepreneurs and manufacturers to implement joint projects, establishment of industrial cooperation and localization of sought-after production in the domestic market.

In particular, the Center for Development of Investment Projects under the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade was tasked to prepare specific investment proposals for industries and regions with preliminary technical and economic calculations, formed on the basis of an in-depth analysis of industrial potential, domestic market conditions, as well as the needs of local producers in raw materials and components. This will allow to specify interaction with entrepreneurs and potential project initiators on the fields of the exhibition and discuss in detail cooperation possibilities for specific projects.

The heads of industry associations and regional administrations were told to prepare informative materials in a multimedia format, revealing the investment and industrial potential in each area, as well as to focus on active interaction with the target audience. Particular attention was paid to the measures of informational support of the event and promotion of the fair through the Internet resources and electronic media.

In a separate order the need to comply with all the sanitary-epidemiological measures to ensure the safety of participants and guests of the event were stressed.

The importance of holding the event on the high organizational and content level was emphasized in order to ensure its maximum effectiveness. It was noted that the fair should become an integrated space where producers will be able to establish direct contacts, determine the most perspective project, discuss possibilities of its realization, receive support in developing a business plan and feasibility study, solve financing issues and come to firm agreements on partnership.

It is expected that the event will stimulate industrial development and advanced manufacturing technologies in various sectors of the country and in the future will become a permanent platform for industrial circles of Uzbekistan.
