Turkish Albayrak Holding intends to expand its presence in Uzbekistan
On November 10 this year, Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade, held a meeting with Erdal Nalbant, Coordinator of the Turkish company Albayrak Holding.
For reference: Albayrak Holding was founded in 1952. The Holding includes 127 companies, and the number of employees exceeds 15 thousand people. Albayrak implements projects in the fields of agriculture, waste recycling, paper production, transport and logistics, mechanical engineering, infrastructure construction and others.
The parties considered the prospects for the intensification of bilateral relations and further development of cooperation, bearing in mind the implementation of new projects in the fields of digitalization, infrastructure development and mechanical engineering.
The Coordinator of Albayrak Holding highly appreciated the reforms carried out in Uzbekistan and the favorable investment climate created, which contributes to the growth of confidence in investment circles, and hence the volume of foreign direct investment, attracting technological innovations, creating new joint ventures and jobs.
The successful activity of the company in our country was noted at the meeting, which is a kind of beacon for Turkish investment and industrial circles to choose a comfortable direction for investing capital and implementing mutually beneficial projects in the Central Asian region.
In particular, the progress of ongoing work within the framework of the project for "Installation of automated photo and video devices for detecting traffic violations" in the cities of Uzbekistan was reviewed. The parties stressed the need to take effective measures for the system's timely commissioning.
During the constructive exchange of views, practical measures were developed to accelerate the implementation of ongoing projects and deadlines were set for the start of work on new agreements.
