At the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan a meeting of Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade S.Umurzakov was held with the management of the Turkish company Outdoor Factory to discuss opportunities for cooperation in the tourism industry of Uzbekistan.

It was noted that, thanks to state support measures, the tourism sector has significant investment potential.

During the meeting the prospects for implementation of projects in this area were discussed: specific project proposals were presented by Turkish investors. The proposed ideas and initiatives were comprehensively reviewed, counter-proposals were given and mutually beneficial mechanisms of cooperation were discussed.

The Uzbek side welcomed the interest of Turkish entrepreneurs in establishing their activities in the country and expressed readiness to provide practical support in the implementation of projects.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue interaction to finalize the reviewed projects and move towards their implementation.
