Vice President of the Korea-Uzbekistan Business Association awarded the Order of “Dustlik”
According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 6303 dated August 27, 2021, Vice President of the Korea-Uzbekistan Business Association (KUBA) Kim Chang-keon was awarded the Order of "Dustlik" for services in establishing bilateral ties and strengthening cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea. The honorary award was presented on December 16 in Seoul by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan S.Umurzakov.
It was noted during the awarding ceremony that the order is conferred in recognition of great contribution to the deepening of multidimensional partnership between the two countries, intensifying cooperation in political, trade, economic and investment sectors as well as in the fields of science and technology, culture and humanities, supporting the promotion of Uzbek initiatives in the international arena and strengthening friendship and solidarity between the peoples of Korea and Uzbekistan.
Kim Chang-keon expressed gratitude for the high appreciation of his role in the development of Uzbek-Korean cooperation, noting that the award will encourage him to further intensify the activities of the Association, and also expressed commitment to the implementation of existing programs and projects and joint work on new initiatives to bring together the business communities of both countries.
