Egyptian Hassan Allam Holding is ready to implement projects in Uzbekistan
On August 28 this year, Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held talks with Mahmoud El-Essawi, Executive Director of Hassan Allam Holding. The focus was on the prospects for attracting investments and practical experience of the company for joint implementation of projects in key sectors of the economy of our country.
For reference: Hassan Allam Holding was founded in 1936. It is one of the largest financial and industrial corporations in Egypt. Over the past 5 years, the company successfully implemented 70 projects in the Middle East and Africa. According to Forbes, the company is ranked among the top 100 Arab family businesses. Assets are worth $8 billion, the number of employees account for 45 thousand.
The Egyptian side highly appreciated the transformations carried out in Uzbekistan in recent years and expressed readiness to participate in the implementation of joint projects. In particular, prospects for cooperation in the fields of energy, water supply, production of metal and chemical products were discussed.
Following the meeting, the issue of signing a joint roadmap for the implementation of investment projects and organizing a visit of the company's CEO to Uzbekistan to begin practical work on the implementation of the agreements reached was agreed.
