October 7 this year negotiations were held at the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade with a delegation from Loftleiðir (Iceland), headed by Senior Vice President E. Svavarsson.

The projects of cooperation in the field of air transport were considered.

The parties also discussed the issues of attracting foreign investment in projects for the construction of renewable energy facilities, the development of high technologies.

Loftleiðir has extensive experience in the privatization of industrial and infrastructure facilities abroad.

In this regard, E. Svavarsson announced the intention of the Icelandic company to take part in the privatization of large enterprises of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as its readiness to provide entrepreneurs with advisory services in these areas.
